Rebecca Scott brings over 20 years of legal experience to the Law Offices of Nathan Miller. Born and raised in Denton County, Rebecca graduated with a B.A. in Criminal Justice with minors in sociology and social work from Texas Woman's University in Denton. Her legal career began as a Deputy Clerk with the Denton County Clerk's Office where she served in the criminal division.

There she learned the intricacies of criminal procedure and case progression. She continues to have excellent relationships with the Denton County misdemeanor and felony court clerks, and she has earned the respect and friendship of the Denton County Court Administrators as well.

Rebecca has thrived in private practice where her skills in client care and management can best shine. She is extremely knowledgeable in the areas of Intoxication Offenses, Occupational Driver Licenses, and Texas DPS Suspensions, and Texas Driver Responsibility Program Surcharges. In 2014 Rebecca co-authored an article for presentation to the Denton County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. She also trained members of the local bar association and their paralegals when the State of Texas rolled out its online case e-filing system. As accomplished as she is, when asked what she enjoys most about her job, Rebecca will humbly reply, "I just enjoy helping people".
